Everything we offer is non-medical household help. Combine services in a single visit; most weekly visits include a bit of everything.

Putting things away and tossing what’s past its date

Typical length: About 2 hours
What’s included
Time together doing what you enjoy
A short walk outside, weather permitting
Light tidying and watering the plants
A written update for the people you choose
What we don’t do
Knowing our limits keeps everyone safe. These are outside our service, and our service agreement says so plainly:
Personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming or help with eating
Lifting, transferring or helping someone move who can’t do so safely on their own
Medication of any kind, including giving, sorting or dosing reminders, and any nursing task
Driving clients or riding with them in any vehicle
Overnight stays, or supervising someone who can’t safely be alone
Handling cash, bank cards, PINs, online banking or investments
Signing or witnessing legal documents, or accepting gifts
If needs change
We’ll tell you honestly and help you find the right support, such as Ontario Health atHome in Ottawa or your CLSC in Gatineau, and we can keep helping with groceries and meals alongside it where that’s appropriate.
